|God hates fags
||[Apr. 19th, 2007|08:12 pm]
Today I was looking around the net like I always do when I found myself at Facebook.com. I had an invitation to join a group in protest to the Phelps Family with the Westboro Baptist Church from being at the funerals of the victims of the VA Tech shootings. For those who do not know who this family is they are the family that pickets the funerals of dead soldiers... and well anything they believe to be against God... Even other churches. This hurt my heart so badly that I had to look at their website and see just what this stupid little group was all about. Their website is called www.godhatesfags.com That right there should tell anyone that these people are crazy. But to read further into their site is just all out heart breaking.
This entry is all about This family... and how it made me feel. Please read what I have to say. Please watch the video I have found and please sign the petition to keep them from being anywhere near those funerals.
I would like to first start off with how they do not answer any question with a just answer... I have chosen 3 out of many FAQ from their site that I find should be asked... but are never answered.
Why do you have signs saying "Thank God for 911," "Thank God for AIDS," "Thank God for Katrina," "Thank God for IEDs," "Thank God for Dead Soldiers," and otherwise thanking God for things that humans think are bad?
First, it is the duty of every human to be thankful to God for everything He does. He is the Creator. All His acts are, by definition, perfect and just. “… The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.” (Psalm 19:9). All things flow from and happen by Him. It is the duty of every human to bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ (2 Co 10:5). Therefore, we are to be thankful for everything He does.
5 I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:
6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.
7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
12 I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.
Second, God promised mankind, if you obey Him, He’ll bless you; if you disobey Him, He’ll curse you (e.g., Deuteronomy 11:29, 27:4, 13; Joshua 8). This nation called america is a rebellious house. It is the fulfillment of God’s covenant for him to curse this nation (Isaiah 24; Jeremiah 11; Malachi 2). That is something to be thankful for.
Third, the scriptures specifically tell the servants of God to find comfort and rejoice in His punishment of the wicked. This is so, as Dr. John Gill (the expositor) states (concerning Psalm 58:10), “not as evils and miseries simply considered, nor from a private affection; but as the glory of divine justice is displayed therein, and the goodness of God is shown to them, by delivering them out of their hands; see Revelation 18:20, 19:1-3.”
41 If I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me.
42 I will make mine arrows drunk with blood, and my sword shall devour flesh; and that with the blood of the slain and of the captives, from the beginning of revenges upon the enemy.
43 Rejoice, O ye nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful unto his land, and to his people.
Psalm 58:10 The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.
21 For thus saith the Lord GOD; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast?
22 Yet, behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be brought forth, both sons and daughters: behold, they shall come forth unto you, and ye shall see their way and their doings: and ye shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought upon it.
23 And they shall comfort you, when ye see their ways and their doings: and ye shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, saith the Lord GOD.
2 Thessalonians 1:
7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
Fourth, God is the Avenger of His people. This nation has, for many years, misused His prophets – us – in every way possible. It is not our prerogative to seek revenge for these misdeeds, which you commit because of your pure hate for God and His people. It is God’s prerogative. He has promised to avenge His people, and it honors and glorifies God when He punishes the wicked and avenges His people (Exodus 14:17). We rejoice when He does so.
18 And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.
19 And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:
20 And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.
21 And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.
22 I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your high ways shall be desolate.
23 And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me;
24 Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.
25 And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant: and when ye are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.
7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily.
19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
9 ¶ And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
Fifth, God has sent us, His people, to deliver His words. You already have His written Word. You have the wrath of God revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men (Romans 1:18). You have God’s nature written on your heart and engraved on your DNA (Romans 2). On top of all that, we rise up early, day after day, and tell you again, what your duty is to the Lord your God (Jeremiah 7:13, 25). We bring it home to you specifically, around current events, such as the highly publicized funerals of soldiers and others who die by some notable calamity (where you appear in mass, for a public/media event, to worship the dead and demand of God that He bless you). Every time you ratchet up your sin and rebellion, in direct response to our words, God punishes you again. That means God is confirming the words of His servants. That is something for which we should and do thank God.
24 Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;
25 That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish;
26 That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:
27 That saith to the deep, Be dry, and I will dry up thy rivers:
28 That saith of Cyrus, He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid.
19 ¶ So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?
How is spitting out a bunch of bible verses an answer to this question??? And if it is an answer where is the commandment "Love thy neighbor"
Doesn't the Bible say that God loves everyone?
No. You are probably thinking of John 3:16, which says no such thing. The word translated "world" in that verse (kosmos) NEVER means every individual of mankind who has ever lived (see, e.g., John 17:9). Romans 9:13 says that God hated Esau, and Psalm 5:5 says that God hates all WORKERS of iniquity (e.g., fags). Other examples are Proverbs 6:16-19, Psalm 11:5, and Malachi 1:3. Given these verses, how can you say God loves everyone? Can you really say "God loves everyone" when God says "I hated Esau?" Does God love the people in hell?
Or, you are thinking of "God is love." God certainly is love, toward His elect (His children). But He certainly is not love toward the reprobate (children of the devil). That's why His elect go to heaven, and the reprobate go to hell. In Romans 9:13, which says "As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated", Jacob is a representative of God's elect, while Esau is a representative of the reprobate. In Romans 1, the word "reprobate" is used to describe fags. Fags are reprobate. God hates reprobates. Therefore, God hates fags.
Furthermore, God specifically says that He ABHORS people who engage in sodomy (as well as other forms of sexual perversion): "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood [shall be] upon them...And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them." Leviticus 20:13,23. Understand? GOD ABHORS FAGS.
God's hatred is one of His holy attributes, whereby He reveals Himself as having a fixed and immutable determination to punish the finally impenitent with eternal perdition. God's hatred is not like man's hatred. His hatred is holy, pure, unchanging, while man's hatred is a sinful, fickle emotion.
First off... why is it that out of 5 verses all but one are from the old test. ????
((All from King James Version 1966))
Romans 9 is the only verse from the New Test.... and it is about Paul's sorrow... not God's and it never uses the word fag.
Psalm 5- a Psalm of David. Says it right in the bible it is a prayer to God... Not God's word. It is His prayer for God's guidence.
Proverbs 6:16 If you read on down past 6:19 you will see homosexuality is not one of the 6 things God hates.
Malachi 1:3 I have nothing for....
Leviticus 20:13... God calls for the death of anyone who lies with the same sex yes but they do not kill anyone... infact on thier site they talk about how they are passive to the sinners. They have not hurt the sinners... and yet their God calls for it... Strange how they only listen to parts of their bible....
ALSO!!!!!!!!! The Bible was written by humans... The Phelps say over and over again that humans are sinners and are born as such... but yet they fallow so closely a Book that was written by these sinners!
Why do you preach hate?
Because the Bible preaches hate. For every one verse about God's mercy, love, compassion, etc., there are two verses about His vengeance, hatred, wrath, etc. The maudlin, kissy-pooh, feel-good, touchy-feely preachers of today's society are damning this nation and this world to hell. They are telling you what you want to hear rather than what you need to hear, just like what happened in the days of Isaiah and Jeremiah: "That this [is] a rebellious people, lying children, children [that] will not hear the law of the LORD: Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us." Isaiah 30:9-11; "Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart." Jeremiah 14:14; "They have healed also the hurt [of the daughter] of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when [there is] no peace. Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time [that] I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the LORD." Jeremiah 6:14-15. And also in the New Testament we are warned: "For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake. One of themselves, [even] a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians [are] alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies. This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith." Titus 1:11-13; "But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of." II Peter 2:1,2. What you need to hear is that God hates people, and that your chances of going to heaven are nonexistent, unless you repent. What you need to hear is a little fire and brimstone preaching, like Jesus preached. What you don't need to hear is that you're okay just the way you are, and God accepts everyone without exception. Don't listen to the money-grubbing heretic who stands at the front of your church. Listen to God. If you are one of His elect, you'll hear
Again Isaiah and Jeremiah are old Test.
Titus is a New Test. Book but it does not speak of hate... the verses uses the word Rebuke... it does not mean hate...
Rebuke-verb- to speak severely to (a person), because he has done wrong
REbuke- Noun- (stern) words spoken to a person, because he has done wrong...
Where is hate?
So please tell me were the answers were in any of those...
My Next part is about the family who do these picketing....
The link above is to one of 6 videos on the family... the lot of them make me very sad.
Here is a music video they made
This family speaks about shutting up and reading the bible but I do not think they do that at all. I think they read it just enough to get quotes that they can misquote and hurt those you are grieving.
Some of their signs say:
Fags die God Laughs
Thank God for 9/11
Dyke Liberty ((a photo of the statue of Liberty))
Thank God for IEDs
Thank God for AIDS
29Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
3Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. 4Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.
But I guess those verses don't mean anything to them... they spout hate without even thinking about it.
If you look at any one of those Letters you will see that all it is, is name calling...
"-you dummy- It is time for you to not talk. It is time for you to get down on your knees and beg your Lord God for forgiveness"
What is name calling going to do other then show us that they are just extremest looking for anyway to use their 'I hate fags' agenda across and it sickens me. If they do not like the way we live here in America then get the fuck out!
And do they not get it that if it wasn't for the men and women now and the ones before them that they would not have the freedom they have today to stand out there and do what they do. No because they do not care... they have their freedom... and you do you know what I think?
I think that if those men who died for our freedom many times throughout time could see these people and how they speak out against them... or if they could only see how our country abuses the power of our freedom... I think they would still fight for that freedom in the first place. The men and women that die for this country aren't fighting so that a man can sleep with another man... they are fighting for the freedom to do so. They are fighting for the freedom of all the people in this country... even the Phelps... and I hope that one day they will see this... because now all they are doing by hating is saving their own place in hell.
